Vs Double Breakfast Bin Lid Challenge

Over watched by our local God of Thunder, THOR, to make sure that no rules were broken. We set Poobs, the challenge of eating two entire Full English Breakfast Bin-Lids. A tremendous feat for any human digestive system, but was it too much for our man, Poobs?

Well as always we were there on the scene with camera in hand, to record this tremendous event in history, pictures to follow...

So we're half way through, one bin-lid down... We stopped for a moment to make sure our man in the field was ok. Poob's response was "Meh", we on the other hand were feeling rather nauseous, but we soldiered through, not wanting to miss a second of this record breaking attempt in motion... and so did our Hero

So had our man succeeded in his challenge, we brought in the big guns and turned to our guest referee, THOR, to make the final decision.

After studying closely all evidence, and after witnessing all of the carnage first hand, THOR made his final judgement and announced the winner of this momentous challenge...

So for the record guys, that is Poobs 1 - Food 0.

When approached once again for comment on how he could achieve such a gastronomic task, our Man responded "I think I could go for third!". Unfortunatly, he didn't as he was going out for a Gammon based meal that evening with his Dearly Beloved, who's birthday is on Sunday and Poob's needs to buy her something special, because she deserves it...

oh and apparently we have pictures of the Gammon based feast as well on the way, once again courtesy of his wife, Anna...

Poobs VS Burger King's Triple Whopper & Friends

A not-so-rare lunch time treat, we traveled to the local Burger King, were Poob's in all his gluttonous glory has a secret...

Not written on any boards, never advertised and only ever talked about in hushed tones in the back rooms of only the shady food establishments, there is a burger, a King of Burgers.... The Burger King, Triple Whopper!

Weighing in at THREE flame grilled 100% beef patties, topped with crispy lettuce, creamy mayo, red ripe tomatoes, pickles and onions on a sesame seed bun, this bad boy is the ultimate in Franchised Fast Food Restaurant Burgers.

Now Poobs being Poobs would never be just satisfied with this measly treat, and as with all orders goes as large as possible. Burger King is the only place, that I know of, that still does SUPER SIZE over here in the UK and this is taken full advantage of. Be witness to the ultimate Burger King meal.....

Now normally, this would be the end of the post, but this is no normal blog, and no normal appetite, not filled and with the promise of a discount (via a coupon booklet that came with the meal) Poobs went back for seconds, bringing into the ring a kids meal, turning this match from a standard David VS Goliath into a Handicap match... we're just not sure who had the advantage, the burgers or the Poobs...
